who are we?

Although as a vocation it is inherently different from the performing arts or fine arts, ‘Architecture’ to me is a huge canvas endorsing all forms of Art. While working in this profession for last 5 years, I always experienced that it’s an ‘Artist’ in me plays a driving force to my creations.

Architecture is a social purpose to me, as it forms a crucible in which human activity takes place. The built environment always has a profound effect on human behavior. Everything happens to a region, or a city, comes under architecture. Architect works not only to maintain the city with infrastructure but to glorify it with the humanity touch. Bluebell Design House achieves it by four key features:

Innovation: Design with Ease

Many of us are still confused about the metaphor of the word "innovation". Manipulation of something can’t stand as ‘Innovation’. In Architecture, there is something we call as ‘Form Following Function’ (fff). There are certain forms, certain dimensions which cannot be manipulated since they have been evolved from the anthropometry of a human structure. If you do something to it ,will it be called as innovation? Surly not. Innovation is a revolution… it’s a change in thinking pattern. It’s not a product, it’s a process. It is an idea that is made useful

Aesthatics

It is a tool for innovation to get it perceived. It generally refers to beautification, but that’s not a complete definition. Actually it deals with emotional value. Let's take ‘Jail’…This is the best example of aesthetical formation. It is the structure which is actually made to prevent certain attitudes/people from emerging into the society. So technically the structure itself is against Architecture! But Architect looks towards it as a structure which will relax the disturb minds and help them to come again in the society. Thus here, the aesthetics for a jail does not mean embroidery

Recognise us... we are weak heartened, idiotic and crazy artists”

Psychology

It is an attempt to understand the mental function of an individual or a society.

How the Building appears to the passerby? Can he guess the Nature of the activity being performed within it? And does he find himself correct?

Happy, sad, exciting, tense, relaxed…. These are different moods of human mind… if these are taken care by the designer; trust me, the building talks! the unconventional way

Programe

Understanding the program of the building, Architect designs the mood of the premises, like in Shapes, in Levels, in colors, in appearance, and on. The Hospitals, Jail, Schools, Apartments are the vibrant example where the program can be experienced and sighted within.

In spite of all the technicalities during the process of designing, an architect works only as an ‘artist’. All these skills are inbuilt… for an Artist using them is effortless. Have you ever observed any stress on the face of Bharatratna Bhimsen Joshi while singing? Does it mean that there are no singing techniques exists in him? Of course they do… probably they can be drafted out by observing him singing…

Any artist sinks in sorrow when he sells out his Art, Painting, anything… because of the attachment with his art… his child, and believe me, when I handover My Structure to the client, I feel the same…

Recognize us… we are nobody but weak hearted, idiotic and crazy artists…
